BJHS Provides Internet Safety Training to NJHS Students

On September 17th and 18th, the Brookwood Jr. High School National Junior Honors Society Members engaged in an Internet safety training program. The NJHS students completed a series of modules consisting of topics on cyber predators, cyber bullying, intellectual property, and cyber security.As a result of this training, the students will be able to mentor students at all four schools in the district.
The training program being used is called i-SAFE. This program is dedicated to protecting the online experiences of our youth. I-SAFE Inc.is the worldwide leader in Internet safety education. It was founded in 1998 and is endorsed by the U.S. Congress.
