Hickory Bend Students Visit Glenwood-Lynwood Library
Hickory Bend students in grades two through four had the opportunity to visit the Glenwood-Lynwood Library. Upon their arrival students were greeted by the library staff who gave them a tour and explained the different areas such as the computer lab, quiet rooms fiction and non-fiction areas. Students came prepared to participate in a scavenger hunt of materials in the library. As they explored they expressed excitement about finding the books, newspapers, magazines and encyclopedias that were on their list. It was impressive to see their joy and determination.
