A Letter From Dr. Moore: In the words of John Dewey, 1916, “If we teach today as we taught yesterday; we rob our children of tomorrow.” As a result, I am writing to inform you that Brookwood 167 will be offering iPad tutorials to you in preparation for the school district’s iPad initiative. This initiative, known as the Brookwood 167 One-to-One (1:1) Pilot Digital Program, will provide iPads to its students in kindergarten and first-grade to take home and use in school. This program is based on a grant written to facilitate twenty-first century learning for our students. The tutorials will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 7, 2015 to September 24, 2015, and will be conducted at the Longwood Elementary School Library.
