Board MeetingsMeetings of the Board of Education are generally scheduled on the second Monday of most months.
Meetings convene @ 7:00 p.m. and are held at the Administrative Center/District Office.
Closed sessions begin @ 6:00 p.m.

What's New?
Dear Brookwood School District 167 Staff, Parents and Community:
The National Weather Service has predicted/reported dangerous weather conditions for Friday, January 23, 2026.
Out of an abundance of caution and as a proactive measure, our District will implement an e-Learning day for Friday, January 23, 2026.
This includes the cancellation of all before and after school care programs, extracurricular activities and sporting events.
Many factors are carefully considered when deciding to close our schools.
This includes the safety and well-being of our students and staff, the severity of the weather, the timing of the weather-related events, and the walking and driving conditions for our students, staff, and bus drivers.
By using e-Learning days, we will not have to make up the days at the end of the school year.
Teachers will provide instruction remotely using Google Classroom and Google Meet and will be accessible for virtual office hours during their plan period for the day.
All students are expected to access their classroom remotely at 8:30 a.m.

We are looking to come back to in-person learning, Monday, January 26th.

Join us Monday, November 24,th 2025, when two experts discuss the tough topics that make school & home partnerships so important.
All Brookwood School District students in grades K-7 were allowed to participate in Brookwood School
District 167’s Summer School Program to reinforce Reading and Math skills and to regain any learning loss. The program will run from Tuesday to Thursday, 8:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m., from June 11th, 2025, to July 17th, 2025.
STUDENT HOURS | 8:15 a.m.- 12:15 p.m.
Arrival | 8:15 a.m.
Morning SEL Meeting/Breakfast | 8:15 a.m.- 8:30 a.m.
1st Session Reading or Math | 8:30 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.
2nd Session Reading or Math | 9:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Enrichment Activity (Fitness and STEAM) | 11:00 a.m. – 11:50 a.m.
Lunch (Health & Nutrition Lesson) | 11:50 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Student Dismissal | 12:15 p.m.

Your child is expected to be in attendance and on time each and every day during learning
hours to maximize instructional effectiveness. Your child is expected to fully engage in the
learning activities and demonstrate cooperation and a positive attitude towards the learning
process. Your child must adhere to the District’s Acceptable Use of Internet Policy.
Parent Expectations:

Ensure your child is in attendance every day for the entire 16-day summer program. Remind
students of expected behavior (PBIS- Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible).
